KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Affendi Zahari has been reappointed as the Chairman of Kampong Bharu Development Corporation (PKB) for a period of 2 years effective Oct 19.

PKB in a statement today said Affendi’s appointment was to replace Tan Sri Ambrin Buang whose term as PKB chairman ended on Oct 18.

Affendi Zahari was PKB chairman for 3 years from Aug 3, 2015 to Aug 15, 2018.

Affendi earned his LLB law degree from the University of Buckingham in 1988 and obtained his Certificate in Legal Practice in Malaysia in 1992.

“PKB is confident that Affendi’s experience, knowledge and credibility will bring much progress and improvements in plans to develop Kampong Bharu.

“The management and staff of PKB welcome Affendi’s appointment and hope that the new chairman will do his best in carrying out the duties entrusted to him,” the statement said.
